Working to make people, families, and our community, stronger, healthier, and safer.

Correctional Transition Services, Inc. (CTSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing unique community-based programming for individuals transitioning from the correctional system to society. CTSI believes without reservation that all people possess the ability to make positive life changes and contribute to the good of their communities. Based upon this belief, CTSI provides chemical dependency treatment and cognitive re-structuring intervention and encourages change by demanding responsibility and accountability from its clientele.

Ultimately CTSI exists to break the cycle of drug use and criminal activity common to ex-offenders; transition ex-offenders back into our community as good, productive citizens; strengthen the ties between ex-offenders, their families and community; and increase public safety through the reduction of relapse and recidivism.

CTSI offers intervention and re-entry services by providing comprehensive "best practices" programming and acts as a conduit to community resources that facilitate positive outcomes.

BELIEF:

CTSI believes people can and will change when afforded meaningful opportunities that promote lifelong behavioral changes.

SOLUTION:

CTSI takes a solution based approach to working with clients to break the cycle of addiction and recidivism and increase public safety. CTSI programs incorporates evidence based "best practices" and community involvement.

EXPERIENCE:

CTSI has extensive experience in applying evidence based correctional practices
and is governed by a committed group of concerned citizens who comprise its board of directors with experience in non profit management, education, business, and community action groups.
Correctional Transition Services provides re-entry training to ex-offenders making the transition back to everyday life.  Focusing on life skills, chemical dependency treatment, and general behavioral counseling, CTSI helps ex-offenders prepare themselves for re-entry back into society. CTSI Counselors provide hands-on treatment of chemical dependency, lifeskills, and general transition issues for ex-offenders facing re-entry.
